Turkish Airline Check-in Methods
You can check into Turkish airlines using the online check in method or at the airport. Using the online check in is easy and convenient, though it might not be available to some passengers. Baggage Allowance
Turkish Airlines Baggage Policy
The baggage allowances on Turkish airlines and its fees are based on whether you are flying on the piece-system routes or weight-system ones. For piece-system routes, the free allowance depends on the route, the cabin class of travel and the frequent flyer status, among other parameters. For weight-system based routes, the free allowance depends on maximum weight which can be carried per passenger in a flight.
1. Carry-on Baggage: Passengers are allowed to carry one carry-on baggage within 23x40x55 cm and 8 kg limits.
2. Check-in baggage: The check-in baggage of maximum weight of 1 piece of baggage is 23 kg for Economy Class and 32 kg for Business Class.
Additional baggage, overweight baggage and oversized baggage entail additional charges. There are upper limits to the maximum number of check-in bags carried per passenger, the maximum weight and size of each bag.
