1. Check-in Baggage: WestJet does not provide free check-in baggage allowance and passengers are required to pay for their baggage. However, the first check-in baggage is free for WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard primary holders, EconoFlex, Premium and Business fares and Silver, Gold and Platinum WestJet Rewards members.In addition, the second bag is included for Premium and Business guests, besides the Silver, Gold and Platinum members.
Fee for 1st bag varies from $30 to $47 and for 2nd bag, it varies from $50-$70. Subsequently, the baggage fee is $100-$118 for more baggage as also for overweight and oversized check-in bags.
2. Carry-on Baggage: WestJet allows carriage of one carry-on and one personal item on-board. The carry-on baggage has maximum dimensions of 53 cm x 23 cm x 38 cm.
(21 in. x 9 in. x 15 in.) whereas the personal item has a maximum dimension of 41 cm x 15 cm x 33 cm (16 in. x 6 in. x 13 in.).
